Expanded transit service
Pushing for routes, frequency and connections that match how Ward 11 actually moves, today and as the city grows.
I'm Skylar Franke, and I've been your City Councillor for Old South, Wortley Village, Southcrest, Berkshire Village, Manor Park and The Coves since 2022. I'm running for a second term because the work we started — on housing, homelessness, transit, and a Ward 11 that looks out for its neighbours — is working, and I'd like to keep going.
I'm proud of what we've accomplished this term, but more work remains. I'd like to continue pushing for expanded transit service, supporting affordable housing, planning winter homelessness support earlier than before, and advancing much-needed infrastructure projects.
My last campaign was supported by small donations from real people, not big interests. I'd like to do it again.

Backing the projects, partners, and zoning changes that bring real, attainable homes to our neighbourhoods.
No more last-minute scrambles in November. People deserve a plan, on paper, by summer.
Roads, bridges, parks, and community spaces that have waited long enough — finished, not just promised.
